From Feast to Fling – Terms & Conditions

1. About the Experience

From Feast to Fling is a ticketed cultural dining and live performance experience produced by 1745 Events Ltd.
The event combines a fixed-menu Scottish meal with live traditional music, storytelling, Highland dancing, and an optional, guided ceilidh at the end of the evening.

The experience takes place at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange or other designated venues as advertised.

2. Tickets & Booking

  • All tickets are sold subject to availability.

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless agreed in advance by 1745 Events.

  • Proof of booking (digital or printed) may be required for entry.

  • Tickets purchased via third-party platforms (e.g. tour operators or online travel agents) are also subject to their terms in addition to these conditions.

3. Event Schedule & Timings

  • Events start promptly at the advertised time.

  • Late arrival may result in missed elements of the experience, including food service or performances.

  • No refunds will be issued for late arrival or early departure.

4. What’s Included

Your ticket includes:

  • Entry to From Feast to Fling

  • A fixed four-course traditional Scottish meal

  • Live bagpiping, music, and Highland dancing

  • Storytelling and hosted entertainment

  • Optional, beginner-friendly ceilidh dancing at the end of the evening

5. What’s Not Included

  • Transport to and from the venue

  • Drinks (available to purchase from the venue bar)

  • Additional food or menu substitutions outside the fixed menu

6. Dietary Requirements

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other common dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice only.

  • Dietary requirements must be submitted by the stated cut-off time (typically midday on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed).

  • We cannot guarantee accommodation of last-minute or on-the-day requests.

7. Seating & Participation

  • Seating is unallocated unless otherwise stated.

  • Audience participation is entirely optional.

  • Ceilidh dancing is guided, low-impact, and suitable for beginners.

  • Guests participate at their own discretion and risk.

8. Health, Safety & Conduct

  • Guests must follow all venue safety instructions and staff guidance.

  • Disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

  • The venue reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol in accordance with licensing laws.

9. Accessibility

  • From Feast to Fling is hosted in established venues with accessibility provisions.

  • Please contact us in advance with any specific accessibility requirements so we can advise and assist where possible.

10. Photography & Video

  • Photography and video recording may take place during the event for promotional purposes.

  • By attending, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in marketing materials unless you notify us in advance.

  • Personal photography is welcome, provided it does not disrupt the performance or other guests.

11. Cancellations & Changes by Us

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or materially alter the event, ticket holders will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund.

  • 1745 Events is not responsible for costs incurred outside the ticket price (including travel or accommodation).

12. Force Majeure

1745 Events shall not be liable for cancellation or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, acts of government, industrial action, or venue closures.

13. Liability

  • Attendance is at the guest’s own risk.

  • 1745 Events accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence and to the extent required by law.

  • Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the guest.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Scots law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
